We understand that as a parent, you may have questions about our sessions, safety, and how we can support your child’s development. Below are some common questions we receive:
General Questions
What is Mini Ballers?
Mini Ballers is a fun and engaging sports program designed for children. Our sessions focus on improving motor skills, teamwork, and confidence through structured play and coaching, but most of all, introducing your players to the world of football.
What age group do you cater for?
We cater for children aged 18 months to 5.5 years old. Our sessions are tailored to be age-appropriate, ensuring a fun and supportive environment for all.
Where do the sessions take place?
All sessions are held indoors – school halls, leisure centres and community halls.
How long is each session?
Each session lasts approximately 40-45 minutes depending on age group.
How do I book a session?
You can book a session through our online booking platform. We recommend all sessions need to be pre-booked.
Do you offer taster sessions?
Safety & Wellbeing
What safety measures are in place?
Safety is our top priority. We ensure all sessions are run by qualified coaches, and we adhere to strict safety guidelines – including first aid-trained staff, appropriate child-to-coach ratios, and thorough risk assessments for each venue.
What should my child wear to a session?
We recommend comfortable sportswear and trainers. Please also bring a water bottle to keep them hydrated. You can purchase official Mini Ballers kit from our online shop if you would like them to look the part!
Do coaches have DBS checks?
Yes! All our coaches are fully qualified and have up-to-date DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) checks to ensure a safe environment for your child.
Payments & Membership
How much does a session cost?
Our pricing varies by location and ranges from £35 to £42 per month. Depending on location, membership includes up to 45 sessions per calendar year (January to December), which also covers our members-only training days held in August.
Do you offer trial sessions?
Are there any discounts available?
Yes! We offer a 10% discount for a additional sibling.
HOW DO I CANCEL MY MEMBERSHIP?
If you wish to cancel your membership, please provide written notice at least 7 working days before your next payment is due. This allows us to process your cancellation in a timely manner.
Development & Progress
What skills will my child develop?
Will my child be placed in a group based on their skill level?
Can parents stay and watch?
Absolutely! Classes are parent-assisted until players reach the eldest class, Mighty Ballers. Parents during Mighty Baller sessions will stay and watch their child’s progress. However, we kindly ask that you allow our coaches to lead the session without interruptions or parents talking between themselves.
